Deputy General Manager - Finance

Our client, listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong is an international and leading visionary property developer with headquarters in Shanghai. The Company has a proven track record in developing large-scale, mixed-used city-core development projects and integrated residential development projects.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be the deputy head of the Finance Dept responsible for all financial and accounting matters relating to the company.

Responsibilities

• Finance and Cash Management - Contribute to the effective overall management, enhance profitability, ensure sound finance and cash management for the operations in the Mainland.

• Internal Control - Ensure proper financial control is effectively carried out in all operations with a view towards enhancing profitability.

• Budgeting and Capital Expenditure Control - Ensure budgets and capital expenditure are well prepared and timely and that effective measures are taken to ensure they are adhered to.

• Investment Management - Contribute to the overall development by evaluating investment opportunities where necessary.

• Tax Management - Contribute to minimize the tax exposure of operations through effective tax planning.

• Human Resources Development ¡V Leading a sizable team, you will ensure the operating team members in the Finance & Accounts Department are organized and deployed effectively, and that all staff is competent and motivated.

Requirements

University graduate in related discipline; Certified Accountant, member of HKICPA or equiv. Minimum 12 years experience in finance/accounting of which at least 5 years must be at senior management levels with knowledge of the Mainland China accounting practices. Exposure working in a senior finance post within a HK listed company an advantage.

Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Putonghua. Good leadership and management skills, analytical, accurate with high control sense. Able to deal with people at all levels.
