Product Marketing Manager - Wireless

Our client, a leader in mobile
communications solutions is expanding in Asia Pacific and is looking to recruit
smart and strategic individuals to join their Asia
Pacific operations.
Responsibilities:

Drive an optimized product roadmap for Asia Pacific,
providing regional feedback into global product marketing teams & product
roadmap. In line with business goals for the region, appropriately identify
product gaps and requirements that can drive new market potential in the Asia
Pacific region.

Work with carrier partners in the Asia Pacific region
to understand their product requirements as well as end customers.

Develop and implement
·
Work with engineering, manufacturing and localization
teams to ensure that products, software solutions, packaging and documentation
are localized and tested according to market requirements
·
Resolve issues that impact design/selling success or
address future concepts, products or technologies. Perform independent judgment in methods,
techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain desired results
·
Develop life-cycle product programs to achieve product
and revenue goals for the region. Work with
Requirements
- Degree holder or higher in
the area of Telecommunications Product Marketing or Engineering
- Technical background with
in-depth knowledge of wireless technologies and trends.

Asia Pacific regional experience, with emphasis on product management and
development exposure to the
- Proven track record
of at least 10 years related experience in wireless product marketing
and management.
- Fluent in spoken & written English and Mandarin
required; ability to speak other Asian languages will be helpful
- Results-oriented. Works productively in a fast
moving, sometimes ambiguous environment with sustained work pressure.
- Able to succeed with minimal central support functions and
infrastructure.
