Our client, US Private Equity Fund Services group of companies is one of
the leading fund administration groups in the world. They are looking for
high-calibre fund accountants.
You will be required to provide and
manage daily accounting and reporting functions with for the company's Private
Equity clients. Your specific responsibilities will include the following:
In addition to maintaining and controlling the general ledger and various
sub-ledgers, you will prepare and review: financial statements, footnotes and
partner capital statements; limited partner and general partner allocations;
capital call and distributions to limited partners; trial balances and work
paper product. You will be expected to interact with senior management and
clients.
You will also be expected to partner with the Director on deliverable planning;
supervise, coach and train junior staff members and review their work, in order
to meet client requirements for timing and quality; coordinate projects with
our Operations group and tax Group.
Additionally, you will also be expected to provide prompt and professional
communications; prepare appropriate material for client meetings and requests;
coordinate , support and facilitate the process of external audits.
You will need to be a team player with a bachelor's Degree in Accounting
or a related field; 4-6 years of proven success in accounting - preferably
public accounting - and / or experience in the financial services sector;
experience with preparing and reviewing general ledgers, financial statements,
footnotes and working papers; knowledge of US GAAP; demonstrated achievement
with developing and supervising other professionals; high levels of attention
to detail; strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication skills.
